Mementidy is designed as a private, on-device photo cleanup app. The app does not require an account, does not run an external server, and does not upload your photos for analysis.

Data We Collect

We do not collect personal data from the app. Mementidy does not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, location data, contact information, account data, or photo content.

Photos and On-Device Analysis

Mementidy asks for Photo Library access so it can show your photos, help you review them, and move photos you choose to Apple’s Recently Deleted album.

Photo categories such as similar photos, blurry photos, screenshots, documents, food, landscapes, pets, people, older photos, and large files are processed locally on your device using Apple system frameworks where available. Your photos are not sent to Mementidy or to any third-party server.

Local Storage

Mementidy may store basic app state locally on your device, such as whether the one-time unlock has been purchased. This is stored using Apple’s local storage APIs, such as UserDefaults, and is not uploaded by Mementidy.

Purchases

In-app purchases are handled by Apple through StoreKit. Mementidy does not receive or store your payment card details. Apple’s privacy practices apply to purchase processing: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.

Third Parties

Mementidy does not share your personal data with third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. If this changes in the future, this policy and the App Store privacy details will be updated.

Children

Mementidy is not directed to children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Your Choices

You can revoke Photo Library access at any time in iOS Settings.
You can delete the app to remove local app data from your device.
Photos moved to Recently Deleted remain controlled by Apple Photos and can be recovered or permanently deleted there.
